VW I.D. Crozz Concept will be put on sale in the United States in 2020, as confirmed by the automaker. However, it will be the production model that will come out for sale in the United States. Moreover, the concept scheduled to show up in the LA Auto Show. It will share the platform with the I.D. hatchback concept and I.D. Buzz. However, for the United States, the German carmaker looks up to the VW I.D. Crozz Concept for starting up their EV revolution. Though the VW I.D. Crozz Concept was been first divulged in the Shanghai Auto Show but it went through changes later. However, German automaker preferred presenting their concept with some modification in the Frankfurt Auto Show held a few months before.
However, speaking about the specification of the VW I.D. Crozz Concept, it had two electric motors. Hence, each motor is fitted on each axle that helps in producing 302 hp. On a single charge, the VW I.D. Crozz Concept can travel approximately 300 miles. However, it is made possible by equipping an 83 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. Though the VW I.D. Crozz Concept had not yet reached the production line but it is expected to be fitted with some additional features as it does so. A quick-charging function will be attached that is expected to charge the battery by 80%of capacity in just 30 minutes. However, it will be charged for the use of a 150 kWh DC charger. Otherwise, the VW I.D. Crozz Concept comes with an advanced autonomous driving system that is expected to see in the 2025 production vehicles.
However, the features of the VW I.D. Crozz Concept doesn’t seem to end over here as the carmakers preferred to equip[ping the car with four laser scanners. Hence they will show up from the front camera, roof, ultrasonic and radar sensors, and side area view cameras. Though price reports said that the VW I.D. Crozz Concept will appear for sale in the United States but we still hold now updates about the sell of the hatchback.
