The new entry- level Vanderhall Venice is added to the range. It offers the side by side same seating arrangement. It is based out of Utah, Provo, Vanderhall makes essentially one model. This trike features a same layout to the Campagne T-Rex, Morgan 3 Wheeler or Polaris Slingshot. It means one wheel is in the back and two wheels at the front, a steering wheel, a two seat open cockpit as opposed to something like the BRP Can-Am. It is more like a motorcycle with extra wheel or Reliant Robin. It puts two wheels in the back and one in the front.
The Vanderhall Venice instead of motorcycle engine will use a turbo four 1.4 liter taken from GM. It produces 200 HP and as much torque to the rear wheel. It is connected to a sequential six speed gearbox. You will have to pack lightly if you are planning a ride in Venice because its cargo capacity stands at only 4,600 cu.in at the back in the luggage area. The retro flavored body will arrive in three hues like Frost White, Abyss Black, and Charcoal Grey.
The Vanderhall Laguna is not so cheap. Its starting price is $50K for the base model, $77,000 for sold out bespoke edition, $58,500 for the Sport Premium version. People who can’t spend so much money will surely be enticed by the new Vanderhall Venice. It is also based on the similar building blocks as Laguna. The new Venice has ditched the former’s carbon fiber costly bodywork for the more cost effective composites. Compared to Laguna, the Vanderhall Venice has limited color choices, options and equipment.
