Vanda Electric is a Singapore based Automobile company that you might not have heard about. Well, this is the first time they have made their debut at Geneva Motor Show and believe us, the model they presented is worth staring at. They have named this hyper car Vanda Dendrobium and the looks of this car is simply out of this world. The sharp edges and the hybrid technology is definitely going to give the competitors a tough time. They hired William engineering to develop the power motor for the model. But the car has some unfinished work, but they are saying that it will soon hit the production line.
Vanda Dendrobium is installed with two powerful electric motors at each axle to generate enough power for the vehicle. As per the company it will take only 2.7 seconds to reach a speed 62 mph from 0, and the top speed of this vehicle is 200 mph, which is pretty impressive. The chief executive of Vanda, Larissa stated that they had this concept design since 90’s but due to lack of demand of electric vehicle, they postponed the plan. But now since the demand of electric vehicles are on the rise, they decided to give it a shot.
When we are talking about the looks of Vanda Dendrobium, the first you will notice is the rear wing LED lights. They are stretched throughout the wing, and makes it really stand out of the crowd. There are carbon fibre elements added to enhance the overall performance of the model. Apart from that they have also implemented wonderful aerodynamic design to keep the vehicle stable during high speed.
