Geneva Motor Show will be held next month and many automakers want it make a mark at this marque event. One of the carmaker who is eagerly looking forward to this event is Skoda. They will be showcasing an updated version of Fabia hatchback. However, this will not be the only vehicle from Czech carmaker to enthrall the public. There is also another concept that will be shown to the world at this event. It is dubbed as Skoda Vision X Concept that will be an urban crossover and comprise of hybrid powertrain.
Even though Skoda Vision X Concept is a show car, it will be slotted as third crossover in the lineup. It is slotted between Karoq that replaces Yeti and Kodiaq. The platform shares the underpinning of Volkswagen Tiguan and Seat Ateca. Skoda Vision X Concept also sets the stage of future electric offerings by the company. The Czech auto manufacturer wants to reach quarter of sales through plug-in hybrid and fully electric powertrain by 2025. The concept shows an overhaul and fresh design language that is evident on the outside as well as on the inside.
Skoda Vision X Concept comes with bright shade of FlexGreen, has panoramic glass panel, Anthracite grey roof, 20-inch alloy wheels and pronounced side sills. Infotainment system is freestanding and is complemented by illuminated crystal. The characteristic Bohemian glass is the inspiration behind the change of design. The three teaser images of Skoda Vision X Concept look sharp and pretty. With few weeks of time, we will get an idea about the true nature of the vehicle.
