It’s just a few hours left for Kodiaq’s official reveal in Berlin. But someone has leaked the seven seater SUV. You have already seen some of the official images of the massive interior. Now you can also see the exterior design. Unsurprisingly, it resembles with the Vision S concept that was shown a few months ago in Geneva. The Skoda Kodiaq 4.7 meters adopts a sharp design as the Superb in the same vein. It should look imposing on the road in its sheer size. This new SUV is one of the most practical models in the class. It can swallow 2,165 liters of the luggage with rear folded seats in five seat version.
An optional 7 seat model will be available for an additional cost. Once again the new pictures with the interior are showing the next generation infotainment system. You will also get a wireless charging functionality, but for that you will have to pay extra. It is a member of MQB family. This means the Skoda Kodiaq will be available with an assortment of 4 cylinder diesel and gasoline engines and all will be turbocharged obviously.
It is safe to say that the bread and butter of this range will be very familiar TDI 2.0. It will be available in 252 lb feet and 150 HP and 295 lb feet and 190 HP of torque. Skoda Kodiaq will also sell its big SUV with TSI 2.0 and TSI 1.4. Both the DSG transmissions and manual will be offered with a choice of AWD grippy setup or front wheel drive layout. It depends on your selection.
