Skoda confirmed that a Kodiaq based SUV coupe will be sold in Europe. The Skoda bosses have given the permission to bring a Skoda Kodiaq Coupe to Europe. Bernhard Maier, the Skoda boss confirmed that it will be sold in China. Now the company is struggling to find its production capacity that needed to deliver it. It is a new VW group SUV, which will share the same platform like the second generation Tiguan. Theo Chin came up with a rendered version of Skoda Kodiaq Coupe.
The Skoda Kodiaq Coupe will be a large 5 seat car. The extra 2 seats will be optional. Its full specs and prices are revealed. Its price tag is less than other SUV’s key rivals. The Skoda Kodiaq Coupe will offer five strong mix of petrol and diesel engines. The entry level cars will have front wheel drive while the all wheel drive will be available for the range. The Skoda Kodiaq Coupe buyers will have lots of choice as it has four trim levels
The coupe SUV will be a larger rival for the Range Rover Evoque. The cars like the Mercedes GLC Coupe and BMW X4 was teased to journalists in 2015. It will be produced in Skoda’s four plants in the country for the Chinese market with a cheaper large 4×4. China is one of the most critical markets of Skoda. In the first half of this year only 569,400 cars are delivered. Around 145,800 cars are sold in China and 242,500 units were moved to Western Europe.
