In the month of March, Rimac C_Two was showcased to the world at Geneva. Now, to celebrate Monterey Car Event, this amazing electric hypercar made its debut. However, it is not quite as same as we seen in Geneva. Rimac showed one-off California C_Two that has been played with. Rimac C_Two wears bright blue paint and sits on new set of wheels. Rimac C_Two California Edition also has new luxurious trunk that has been tailored to cater two six-liter champagne bottles and crystal flutes to celebrate the “vibrant atmosphere” of the Monterey Car Week events.
Rimac C_Two California Edition is currently in display at iconic Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles till 19th of August. Rimac will also a private preview for the C_Two at Monterey Car Week. After this event, it will enthral motorsport fans and car collectors at The Quail, A Motorsport Gathering on 24th of August. The following day Rimac C_Two joins Exotics on Cannery Row to stand among the rarest of supercars from around the world. Specification of the Rimac C_Two California Edition has not been disclosed neither it has been informed that if any modifications has been made.
Rimac C_Two has all-electric powertrain and has for electric motor that works in conjugation through torque vectoring. The combined output of this supercar is 1,888hp (1,914 PS) and 2,300Nm of torque. It has an impressive 120 kWh battery along with all-wheel torque vectoring and a fully configurable all-wheel drive system. Rimac claims that the supercar can accelerate 0-60mph in 1.85 seconds and 0-100mph in 4.3 seconds. It has the top speed of 258mph and drivable range of 4.4 miles based on European NEDC cycle. Production of C_Two will be limited and only 150 units will be made. The price of each unit is $2.1 million and all units have already spoken for.
