Not many people are lucky to get their hands on Renault Sandero RS as it is offered in few markets worldwide. In other markets, the car is sold as Dacia Sandero and is one of the best sellers in Brazil. Now the Brazilian market is getting their hands on Renault Sandero RS 2.0 Racing Spirit. This special edition model was unveiled at Curitiba Renault Sport Track Day. The exterior of Renault Sandero RS 2.0 Racing Spirit is painted in black with red black calipers and wheel center caps. The 17 inch alloy wheels are paired with Michelin PS4 tires.
Renault Sandero RS 2.0 Racing Spirit is powered with 2.0 liter gasoline four-cylinder engine which gives an output of 150 horsepower and 205 Nm of torque. It can accelerate from naught to 62 mph in 8 seconds whereas the top speed is 205 kmph. With the incorporation of RS suspension tuning, the sound made by this special edition seems melancholic. This special edition won’t be available in European market because the engine doesn’t comply with the Euro6 regulations.
If one thinks that Renault Sandero RS 2.0 Racing Spirit is all about power then they are wrong. This special edition is all about driving experience which is currently available in South America. Sandero RS 2.0 Racing Spirit will have limited production with the limit set at 1,500 units. The price of this model in Brazil is around $21,260 which is quite close to the Ford Fiesta ST. However, at this price point, Renault is also offering automatic air conditioner, flashy seats and front electric window. Do check out the video to see this special edition in action.
