The German tuner called KAEGE will introduce an aftermarket program for Porsche 997 GT3 RS. This particular model is of the 997 generation. But no matter what gen it is the Porsche 997 GT3 RS has got a huge appeal. But from time to time the tuners try to improve the overall look and feel of the cars so that the car remains updated. Now the latest example of such improvements comes from KAEGE, a German tuner which is trying to improve a 997 model of Porsche. So far the Porsche 997 GT3 RS has got M+M muffler system that bumps output by 8 hp and shaves off 15 lbs.
A custom air box has been made out of carbon fiber and this one adds 7hp more. There is a new electrical power steering pump as well. As a part of the extensive package for Porsche 997 GT3 RS there is a Sachs sport clutch and custom air filters as well. The bespoke 19 inch BBS wheels unsprung and reduce mass of the car by 20 pounds. This one has got Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. A custom KW suspension kit has also been fitted by KAEGE. The suspension kit is made from aluminum and the lithium ion battery reduces 33 pounds more.
There is retro styled checkered fabric upholstery on the inside of Porsche 997 GTR RS. Rollover bar is also painted and some of the pieces are painted in the same color like the body. There are also some changes made to the trunk of Porsche 997 GT3 RS. KAEGE is now working in order to add a 4.3 liter engine that shall push out 520 hp.
