Official name of the Pininfarina’s all-new electric hypercar PF0 has been announced and will be called Battista. The name comes from Carrozzeria Pininfarina founder Battista “Pinin” Farina. Battista is set to debut at 2019 Geneva Motor Show. It is dubbed as Italy’s fastest and most powerful car but it won’t be easy as the country is home to renowned sports car maker such as Lamborghini and Ferrari. Market launch for Pininfarina Battista is set for late 2020 which coincide with 90th anniversary of Carrozzeria Pininfarina. Chairman of Pininfarina SpA was pleased to realize his grandfather’s dream stand-alone range of Pininfarina’s cars.
