Last week, we showcased a silhouette of the new Pininfarina HK GT. Finally, it has touched down in Geneva in its full strength. It is their fourth such car designed specifically for Hybrid Kinetic. Pininfarina HK GT is a true beauty in every sense and it comprises of long, sculpted bonnet, and a slightly curved line that flows to the rear. There is also long, sculpted bonnet which has slightly curved line that flows to the rear and it likes a petal when full high-tech headlights are switched on.
The styling cues of Pininfarina HK GT remind us of Mercedes-AMG GT, but this Pininfarina is a four-seater. Getting inside and outside is easy thanks to the gullwing doors. In the inside, it has got a clear layout and the first thing one notice is the giant dashboard laid out. This dashboard serves as infotainment system and also enables the passengers to uses different functionalities. Behind the steering wheels, there is digital screen. The power in the Pininfarina HK GT comes from four permanent magnets motors. It comes with two-speed transmission along with microturbine range extender / fuel-cell range extender.
It is backed up by 38kWh battery and the overall output stands at 1,072 horsepower. To accelerate from 0 to 62mph, it takes just 2.7 seconds before topping out at 202mph. If we go by stats, it is faster than Lamborghini Huracan Performante with respect to acceleration (by 0.2 seconds) and top speed. The company claims that Pininfarina HK GT can travel 62 miles on electric power whereas it will travel 621 miles before fuel stop. The dimensions of Pininfarina HK GT are 196.1in long, 78.7in wide, and 53.7in tall.
