After making an impressive global debut at this year’s Geneva Motor Show, Pininfarina Battista Hypercar will make its UK debut at next month’s Goodwood Members Meeting. This electric hypercar will be showcased along with 1955 Lancia Aurelia. Lancia Aurelia was designed over six decades ago. Both of the vehicles have nothing in common apart from the fact that both of them are made from same design house. Watching them standing alongside to each other would be quite a view for many. Pininfarina Battista Hypercar will be presented at UK debut by former Formula 1 and Formula E driver, Nick Heidfeld.
Incidentally, Nick Heidfeld is tasked to tuned the hypercar’s dynamic performance. Nick have many fond memories of the Goodwood as he is the fastest man to climb the steep hills of this iconic venue. At the UK’s premiere event, Rene Wollmann will also grace this event. He led the development team of the now famous Mercedes-AMG One Hybrid hypercar. Unfortunately for many, Pininfarina Battista Hypercar would be static position. Fans who liked to see in full-action will be disappointed not to see it in action. Prospective buyers would have to wait a bit longer.
Pininfarina Battista Hypercar was one of the most talked about vehicles at the Geneva Motor Show. It uses the same powertrain that can be found on Rimac C_Two. Hence, it features four electric motors that gives a combined output of 1,874 hp and 2,300 Nm of torque. Batteries are backed by 120 kWh battery pack. Pininfarina claims that Battista Hypercar will be able to hit 0 to 62 mph in under 2 seconds and 0 to 186 mph in under 12 seconds.
