Pininfarina is appreciated for its electric hypercar, Battista that is capable to achieving momentous performance. An updated version of Pininfarina Battista is coming to Turin Auto Show in Italy. This model has Blu Iconica exterior. Even though Pininfarina didn’t go into the details but they disclose that electric hypercar will have a refined front end and reinforced look and feel of hypercar. It will offer a greater visual connection between front and back. This facelifted Battista will stay in Turin till 23rd June. Subsequently, the hypercar would continue to be fine-tuned with presence of Chairman Paolo Pininfarina and Design Director Luca Borgogno.
Pininfarina Battista will undergo simulation testing, wind tunnel and its first track development programs under the careful eyes of Pininfarina’s Chief Development Driver, Nick Heidfeld who is ex-F1 and Formula E racer. Production of Battista is limited to just 150 units worldwide and is equally allocated between North America, Europe and Asia/Middle East. Price of Battista is set at €2 million. Despite Pininfarina Battista being an expensive vehicle, it won’t be outstretched to call it as Italy’s most powerful car. It is powered with four electric motors, one at each wheel. The 120 kWh battery is sourced from Rimac and offers an combined output of 1,900 PS and 2,300 Nm of torque. Pininfarina claims that Battista is able to accelerate 0-62mph in under 2 seconds and hits the top speed of 217 mph. Drivable range of Pininfarina Battista is 280 miles.
