Pebble Beach Weeks begins from 13th of August and on 18th August Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance will commence. This event quite close and it seems that Pagani has a surprise for us, but the Italian automaker is tight-lipped about it. Nonetheless, Pagani released a mysterious teaser on their Facebook and Instagram page. Despite the car being under a cover, but the image was accompanied by #huayra and #roadsterbc hashtags. Hence, we might be talking about Pagani Huayra BC Roadster. Little information is known abut the model, but Pagani’s Huayra BC Coupe was launched in the year 2016.
The coupe featured twin-turbo 6.0-iter V12 engine that is rated at 789 hp and 1,098 Nm of torque. Engine was mated with seven-speed Xtrach transmission that transfer power to the rear wheels. Apart from upgraded engine, BC Coupe weighed 132kg lighter than the stock version. To lose this much weight, Pagani incorporated lightweight wheels, a titanium exhaust system and lighter Brembo brakes. Pagani also used new composite material that was 50 percent lighter and 20 percent stronger than carbon fiber.
Talking about the latter, exposed carbon fiber bodywork and a more aggressive aerodynamics package was included. This package includes an extended front splitter, canards and revised side skirts with a prominent rear wing along with an aggressive rear diffuser. Similar to Huayra BC, Pagani Huayra BC Roadster is likely to be have a limited production run. At this point of time, it is not known how many units will be come out of the factory or how much each unit will cost. However, when Pagani made 20 Huayra BC Coupes, each of them was priced at a whopping €2.3 million.
