In its two and half decades, Pagani Automobili is known for making ultra-rare and mid-engine hypercars. When it comes to hypercars and supercars, mid-engine layout with rear-wheel drive is the way to go and seems won’t be changing anytime soon. Nonetheless, it doesn’t mean that Pagani cars cannot be conceptualized in other form. This is exactly what a designer by the name of Igor Krasnov and his target was an envisioned as front-engine and rear-wheel drive layout for a Pagani. Obviously, the result was a different proportion and is evident from the renderings.

Huayra had short front hood and a long rear section behind the cabin. Even though it is a hypothetical creation, it reverses the proportions. This unnamed Pagani coupe thus features a very long front hood that has enough room underneath. It will help in accommodation of Mercedes-AMG built twin-turbo 6.0 liter V12 engine that offers 720hp just like the standard Huayra coupe. Sweeping roofline is followed by short boot lid that strangely looks a lot like Aston Martin rather than Pagani model.

The rendering goes on to prove that Pagani’s current design language can be applied to grand tourer without any difficulty. Some might say that the wing mounted mirrors are bit over the top but rest of the aesthetics of the rendered car looks stunning and also promising. The artist has used gullwing doors and he made some changes to the front and rear lights. If Pagani ever decides to make front-engine grand tourer, it will closely resemble to this model.
