Earlier this year, Opel revealed the Crossland X and now the company will be offering the car in LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) powertrain. The price of Opel Crossland X starts from €21,200 and is dubbed as Edition model. For Innovation version, the price starts from €22,400. The pricing is meant for German market and they are recommended price that includes tax. This particular version of Opel Crossland X comes with 1.2 liter three-cylinder engine and it churns out 80 horsepower. The engine works in conjugation with five-speed manual gearbox.
The NEDC rating of the Opel Crossland X is quite good as it reveals that car can travel up to 808 miles to visit the next petrol station. For urban, the car burns 8.4 l/100 km, whereas for extra-urban it consumes 6.0 l/100 km. The combined rating stands at 6.9 l/100 km. Opel Crossland X is built at the Zaragoza factory in Spain. Opel Corsa and Mokka X are also produced at the same factory. The car is co-developed with PSA and sits next to Mokka X. The Crossland X will rival against the Renault Captur.
It has 36 liter LPG tank which is situated in the spare-wheel well. By doing that Opel has managed to save considerable amount of boot space for the car. Drivers will be able to see the LPG and petrol range and they can easily switch between those two with the help of a push of button.
