Pagani Huayra might be the true successor of the Zonda from 2012, but still it has he fan following. Now, we have another bepoke Zonda and it is dubbed as Pagani Zonda Aether. It made its global debut at the on-going Pagani Raduno event in Italy. It is an on-off model and is commissioned by the owner of Ferrari SP38 that was revealed last week. The work of Pagani Zonda Aether commenced from a year ago. Judging by the first look, it is one of the best looking Zondas till date.
The exterior of the Pagani Zonda Aether comprises of gloss carbon fiber and mix of matte. It is contrasted by the usage of bright red stripes that runs down the center and red pinstripes on each side. Several parts in the Aether is inspired by Zonda Cinque thus it comes with a carbon fiber roof scoop and the same air intakes on the rear wheel arches. There is towering rear wing with subtle swan neck uprights along with black wheels, red ‘eyeliner’ under the headlights, and a massive rear diffuser.
The power in the Pagani Zonda Aether reportedly comes from naturally-aspirated 7.3 liter V12 engine that promises to deliver 760 horsepower and has the potential to rise to 800 horsepower. Unlike other Zonda, Zonda Aether Roadster comes with a six-speed manual transmission that transfers power to the rear wheels. It is estimated that two dozen of Zondas has been upgraded to 760-spec.
