The all-new GT-R lineup by Nissan has been launched in Australia. It includes Nissan GT-R 50th Anniversary Edition that is built upon Premium Luxury grade. Nissan GT-R 50th Anniversary Edition is priced from AUD $209,300 and can be obtained in three shades. They are Bayside Blue and Super Silver with white stripes, and Ivory Pearl with red stripes, a throwback to the racing liveries of the GT-R from the 1971 Japan Grand Prix. Additionally, there are special highlights such as the “50th Anniversary” badges on the boot lid and alloy wheels.
The interior design of Nissan GT-R 50th Anniversary Edition also pays homage to the past. It is evident from the “50th Anniversary” badging applied to seats, center console, tachometer and kick plates. Moreover, there is a new two-tone leather trim dubbed as Cool Grey which is exclusive for this model. It can be found on the seats, dashboard panel, door panels, steering wheel and gear shifter. Look is completed by carbon fiber trim, infotainment system, dual-zone climate control and others.
Rest of Nissan GT-R range has been updated and comes with redesigned front fog lamps, blue exhaust tips, and new wheels. A series of mechanical upgrades has been applied such as improved steering wheel, new brake booster, updated turbochargers, and tweaked electronically controlled suspension. Powertrain remains the same i.e. 3.8-liter V6, offering an output of 562hp and 632 Nm of torque. 2020 Nissan GT-R Premium is most affordable member and is priced at AUD $193,800. Next in range is GT-R Premium Luxury that is priced at AUD $199,800 whereas Nissan GT-R Track Edition is priced AUD $235,000. Range-topping version is Nissan GT-R Track Edition with optional Nismo interior is priced at AUD $247,000.
