The new Alfa Romeo Stelvio revealed officially ahead of the Los Angeles Auto Show. The new crossover of Italian firm is based on the same Giorgio platform like the Alfa Romeo Giulia sedan. The Alfa Romeo Stelvio has the same twin turbocharged 2.9 litre V6 engine like the Giulia Quadrifoglio. It produces a total of 443 lb feet and 505 HP of torque. It can accelerate from a standstill to 60 miles per hour in only 3.9 seconds. It has a top speed of 177 mph. It has used all wheel drive system which makes the model more special.
It includes a vectoring torque differential that promises to provide an excellent handling in all circumstances. It also has a 8-speed auto box that can change gears in 100 milliseconds only. The model will be also offered in Ti and base guises. These both will feature four cylinder turbocharged 2.0 litre that produces 306 lb feet and 280 HP of torque. It can send the car to 144 mph top speed. The 2.0 litre comes as standard like the Quadrifoglio engine with all wheel drive system and eight speed auto.
The model also includes DNA drive mode system and Chassis Domain Controller. It allows the model the power that each wheel will receive. It will also offer three drive modes for all variants. Such as Advanced Efficiency, Dynamic and Natural. We expected the Alfa Romeo Stelvio to look like this. It borrowed the design of Giulia. So the front end has similar flowing headlights, a set of large air intakes and customary triangular front grille. The Alfa Romeo Stelvio can arrive in the middle of the next year on the US market.
