It is not a rare phenomenon when Mercedes-Maybach uses the Pebble Beach event to showcases its ultra-luxury vehicles. Last year, at the same event we got to see Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 concept. Now this year, they have introduced the all-new Mercedes-Maybach 6 Cabriolet Concept. The coupe which was introduced last year was a huge success and this 6 Cabriolet Concept with its stylish design certainly grabbed few eyeballs. Mercedes-Maybach 6 Cabriolet Concept is about 20 feet long and is covered in nautical blue metallic finish along with massive grille.
It has also got long hood, short windscreen and 24 inch center locking wheels. The rear end of the vehicle is inspired from luxury yachts and hence got a boat tail. The width of the vehicle is emphasized by narrow taillights and diffuser that comes with aluminium frame. Custom made fabric top comes with interwoven rose gold threads. The interior of the Mercedes-Maybach 6 Cabriolet Concept also gets luxurious treatment and comes with crystal white nappa leather upholstery. Other features include wooden flooring with aluminium accents and rose gold trim. Blue fiber optics component is present on the transparent center console. It also has floating air vents, and retro instrument cluster.
Mercedes-Maybach 6 Cabriolet Concept comes with advance technology that is encompassed by the presence of biometric sensor. The sensor monitors the status of the passenger and also helps them to interact with the car like a person. Mercedes-Maybach 6 Cabriolet Concept is said to be powered with four electric motors. The output is around 550 kW (750 PS) and helps the car to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph under 4 seconds. The top speed of this luxury cabriolet is 155 mph and the power in the motor comes from floor mounted battery. The range of the car is said to be more than 300 miles. Mercedes has also developed a super charger which helps in delivering over 60 miles range with just 5 minutes of charging.
