Mercedes-Benz is bringing an unnamed EQ Concept study at Frankfurt Motor Show. Prior to this, they have releases images and sketches of the study and is believed to preview their flagship EQS electric luxury sedan. The Mercedes-Benz EQ Concept has a luxurious and futuristic cabin and features four individual lounge-like seats mounted on a flat floor separated by a suspended center tunnel. It flows from the dashboard to the rear screen. The photos were posted on Mercedes’s Facebook page and is accompanied by a short description. It reads “the EQ story continues. We’re pioneering the future of sustainable modern luxury. See the interior design vision of an all-electric four-seater luxury sedan.”

The centrepiece of the dashboard is a massive display that rises from the center tunnel. It acts as main interface between the driver and vehicle. Moreover, there is also four slightly smaller displays mounted on each door allowing passengers to control multimedia preferences and operate the windows. Another eye-catching feature in the Mercedes-Benz EQ Concept is butterfly-type steering wheel that is likely to retract into the dashboard when autonomous mode is activated. We won’t be surprised and conceptualize front seats to rotate towards the rear area to create a more relaxing environment. It will also allow face-to-face engagement while the vehicle takes care of driving.

With respect to exterior of Mercedes-Benz EQ Concept, a sleek four-door coupe with a rakish windscreen and a compact greenhouse. Production ready Mercedes-Benz EQS luxury sedan is expected to ride on MEA platform, featuring two electric motors. Combined output will be more than 592hp with rumored AMG version. Mercedes-Benz EQS sedan will have a driving range in excess of 310 miles and will debut in 2021. For now, give a look at the attached photos and sketches.
