At the 2018 Beijing Auto Show, Mercedes is showcasing A-Class sedan along with Maybach crossover concept. Thankfully, there isn’t only one to steal the show from others and the German automaker has another surprise up their sleeves. The company along with the two has also unveiled a stretched wheelbase version of C-Class. Mercedes-Benz C-Class L is longer by 3.15 inches than the standard version and also offers extra legroom at the back. It is perfect for those customers who prefer to be driven around by chauffeurs.
Mercedes-Benz C-Class L also bring for the first time the new four-cylinder engine that comprises of 48 volt EQ boost technology. It might be mild hybrid system, but it promises to boost the fuel efficiency and also in powering additional auxiliary systems. This is slowly making its way to the Daimler’s engine lineup. Mercedes-Benz C-Class L Sedan is bringing forward LED headlights as standard along with Multibeam Ultra Range units. Baden-Württemberg based carmaker is also adding new digital instrument display, large media screen along with multifunction steering wheel, 64-color ambient lighting, and multicontour seats.
Mercedes-Benz local sales chief, Nicholas Speeks said that few people who know about the company know that how special C-Class is to them. He further added that it was in the year 2014 in Beijing when they introduced longer-wheelbase C-Class. Apart from Mercedes-Benz C-Class L, A-Class sedan and Vision Mercedes-Maybach Ultimate Luxury concept, the company is showcasing Mercedes-Maybach S680 at this event.
