For those who don’t know, Prior Design has been making body kits for Mercedes-AMG GT from the year 2015 and they have undertaken another task. The discussed car is Mercedes-AMG GT S and has been tweaked by Prior Design that makes it look even more beautiful. The dubbed car is PD700 GTR and it includes bulky fenders flares on all four corners along with new side skirts. Other new features included in Mercedes-AMG GT S are new bonnet, aprons, a fixed rear wings and large rear diffuser. The styling reminds us of range topping AMG GT R.
Prior Design didn’t reveal the actual cost of the boy kits for Mercedes-AMG GT S. However, don’t expect it to be cheap as majority of them is made from carbon fiber. The price would increase with installation and wrapping. Nonetheless, Prior Design will offer 9.5×20 and 12.5×21 rims shod for front and rear respectively. The rims will wear 245/30 and 305/25 Continental ZR21 tires. Ride height can be lowered by 40mm with the help of sets of H&R lowering springs is also available along with a sport exhaust system with flap function.
The interior of Mercedes-AMG GT S has also been tweaked and comes with carbon fiber trim and Alcantara with contrast stitching. If customers request then Prior Design will also add their logo on headrests and steering wheel. With respect to powertrain upgrade, nothing has been said by the tuning company. Thus, Mercedes-AMG GT S will come with twin-turbo 4.0 liter V8 unit that offers 515hp and 670Nm of torque. It has the top speed of 193mph and can accelerate to 62mph from 0 in 3.8 seconds.
