Several hatchbacks are going to make its presence at this year’s Frankfurt Auto Show. Among them is Mercedes-AMG A 35 4Matic from Brabus. It can be configured in one of two different stages of tune. First tuning package from the Brabus works its magic on the 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo engine with the PowerXtra B 35 tuning kit. It increases the output of the engine by 43hp and 60 Nm of torque. Now, the output stands at 345hp and 460 Nm of torque, which is an increment of 50hp over stock version.
If customers want extra power for the Mercedes-AMG A 35 4Matic, then they could opt for the PowerXtra+ B 35 S tuning kit. Using this upgrade, output jumps to an impressive 360hp along with 486 Nm of torque. When used in conjugation with seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and all-wheel drive system, it can accelerate to 62mph from stagnant position in just 4.4 seconds. Additional performance oriented modifications has been made such as stainless sport exhaust system with integrated sound management. It can work with stock tailpipes and also with Brabus four optionally available stainless/carbon tips.
Aesthetically, Mercedes-AMG A 35 4Matic features a two-piece front spoiler, side air intakes elements and a new rear wing that is fitted in place of production spoiler. It ensures an optimal aerodynamic balance and more thrilling look from the rear. Moreover, there is also a gloss black Brabus Monoblock T alloy wheel that measures 8.5J x 19 front and back. These wheels are wrapped in Pirelli P Zero 235/35 ZR 19 rubber. Interior can be tweaked according to buyers needs with respect to color and upholstery design. We will have to wait till 12th September when Frankfurt Motor Show opens its gate for public.
