This is the track-only version of Super Series model. McLaren Senna GTR will retain few of the features from Senna such as active aero elements that will enable the bodywork to generate a downforce of 1,000kg. The road-going version already offers 800kg of downforce. Major differences in the bodywork constitutes of wider fenders, a larger front splitter and rear diffuser along with repositioned active rear wing.
McLaren claims that wing will be coupled with to the airflow coming from the diffuser which will result in greater downforce at lower speeds. There are other features included in the McLaren Senna GTR such as wider tracks front and rear, center-lock wheels, updated aerodynamic performance in yaw for better cornering stability. For greater stability in braking, pitch sensitivity has been reduced. Talking about the suspension, it consists of geometry, springs, dampers and anti-roll bars. All three have been developed by McLaren GT3 customer racing programme. Advanced braking system and Pirelli tires make it an intimidating force of tracks.
