German based designer, DMC that specializes in Lamborghini, Ferrari and other have come up with a new tuning kit for McLaren 720S. Dubbed it as Rhein, tuned 720S is currently in teasing phase. Nonetheless, DMC has announced that only 10 units will be available worldwide with each one will have a different color. Two units are meant for Mainland China, one each for North America, Switzerland, South East Asia, Japan, Korea, Russia and Dubai and last unit for Hong Kong, Taiwan or Macau. The tuning kit for McLaren 720S has a starting price of $19,990 whereas the full package is priced $89,990. It is $30,000 expensive than the new BMW M2 Competition in the U.S.
Most important mod enables the stock’s 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 to offer a massive 1,000 horsepower. To achieve such high figure, DMC worked on the factory turbochargers, upgrading the internals and squeezes extra 300 hp. Stock version of McLaren 720S takes 2.9 seconds to hit 62mph from stagnant position, and 7.8 seconds to hit 0-124mph. Top speed of 720S is 212 mph. Exterior of the tuned 720S gains a carbon fiber body kit that consist of a reworked bumper, side skirts, rear diffuser and a wing spoiler which can be attached without drilling or applying glue.
As mentioned above, each tuned McLaren 720S will have unique color. Hence, in an attempt to match the exterior, cockpit of the vehicle is going to be unique for each vehicle.
