At the concluded Geneva Motor Show, we got to see McLaren 720S for the first time. The reviews of this supercar are out now and the general consensus is that it is a truly incredible car. The video reviews show McLaren being tested on the streets and also on Vallelunga Circuit which is just outside Rome. McLaren 720S is powered with 4.0 liter twin-scroll turbocharged V8 engine and has an output of 710 horsepower and torque of 568 lb-ft. The hardware manages to push the performance benchmark.
McLaren 720S now competes against the likes of Lamborghini Aventador S, Ferrari 812 Superfast and McLaren P1 hybrid. The 720S will blur the line of difference between supercar and hypercar. McLaren 720S can hit from naught to 124 mph in just 7.8 seconds and can cover quarter mile in 10.3 seconds. The exhaust has been balanced to complement the new engine, but customers can also opt for sports exhaust. Officials also confirmed that fuel consumption and emission figures have been significantly improved. Design tweaks has also decreased turbo lag which makes acceleration lot better.
McLaren 720S will have hydraulic assisted steering unlike its competitor which has switched to electric power steering. This makes driving 720S much more pleasurable and tremendous feel which their competitors cannot. The brakes on 720S are outstanding as the reviews suggest. So stop wasting any more time and check out the three reviews from Autocar, Autoexpress, and Carfection. Do share your thoughts with us and tell us what you like most in 720S.
