It is not uncommon for a tuning company to be the first to take deliveries of rare supercar. Texas-based Hennessey was one of the America’s first to take delivery of McLaren 600LT. Now, that they have it under their disposal for a quite a considerable amount of time, it’s time for them to show their work. The tuning company has dropped few images of the car and promises to deliver more power. It is codenamed as HPE800 and gives us an indication regarding the output of McLaren 600LT which is expected to be around 800hp.
The same moniker was also used for their tuned version of Cadillac Escalade, Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 and Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat. Each one of them had an output in excess of 800hp. If McLaren 600LT does manage to cross 800hp threshold then it would compete against the big boys such as Senna and 720S that offers 789hp and 710hp respectively. It needs to be seen how much output does the tuned McLaren 600LT comes with as it is all speculations at this juncture.
The stock version of McLaren 600LT comes with twin-turbo 3.8 liter V8 engine. The engine generates an output of 592 horsepower and 620Nm (457 lb-ft) of torque. Even though it is part of Sport Series lineup, it has all the attributes of a supercar performance. The setup helps the 600LT to accelerate from 0-62mph in 2.9 seconds before hitting the top speed of 204mph. For now, just check out the attached images of the tuned car.
