This setup helps the powertrain to accelerate from 0 to 60mph in 2.8 seconds and cover quarter of a mile in 10.4 seconds. With free space on the road, it can easily reach the top speed of 204mph. McLaren 600LT Spider is said to be slower than the Coupe. The major reason behind it is the fact that 570S Spider is heavier than the 570S Coupe by 45.8 kg. Nonetheless, McLaren claims that both these model is able to accelerate 0-60mph in same time i.e. 3.1 seconds before hitting the top speed of 204 mph.
