McLaren added the 570GT in their range in year 2016. It was meant as comfortable version of the 570S. Now, it is reported that company is adding new package to the McLaren 570GT. The new package not only makes comfortable but also adds several additional features. The new package is dubbed as S Handling Pack and will comprise of stiffer springs, quicker steering, new uprights and actuators. Another addition to this pack is stability control settings that are also available on the 570S. McLaren 570GT S handling Pack also encompasses damper software and steering from its sibling.
The price of Handling Pack for McLaren 570GT is set at £4,900. All the aforementioned changes make the suspension stiffer by 15 per cent on the front whereas 10 per cent stiffer at the rear. The steering wheel is faster by 2 per cent with the new pack. Last but not the least is the addition of new tires which comes as standard and it is the Sticky Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires. It replaces the standard Pirelli P Zero. There are some retained features in it such as quieter exhaust system and the Touring Deck.
Other features that are retained in the new pack are glass tailgate including a 220 liter luggage compartment that can be found. The power in the McLaren 570GT comes from 3.8 liter Twin-Turbo V8 engine that gives an output of 570 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque. The weight of the supercar is 1,350 but still it can spring from stagnant position to 62 mph in just 3.4 seconds. The top speed of this supercar is 328kmph. Company claims that the average fuel consumption stands at 10.7l per 100km.
