Last year in April, McLaren had unveiled only five MSO 570GT Cabbeen Collection models. Now, the sixth and final one is arriving in US. It is aimed towards buyers who appreciate distinctive Chinese design elements. Recently, McLaren 570GT Cabbeen Collection it was on display at Beverley Hills at this year’s Lunar New Year Celebration. It will be sold exclusive through McLaren’s local dealer based in Beverly Hills. This McLaren 570GT Cabbeen Collection has a VIN number that ends with 888888. It commemorates the Lunar New Year: Year of the Pig.
As we have mentioned earlier, this McLaren 570GT Cabbeen Collection has been created by McLaren’s Special Operations (MSO). They collaborated with Chinese entrepreneur and fashion designer, Mr. Cabbeen. The special edition features MSO Bespoke Obsidian Black paint and a hand-painted dragon design in Gloss Speedline Gold on both door inserts. Additionally, new 15-spoke GT wheels and the Gloss Speedline Gold brake calipers are also made available. Even the inside gets a special treatment. It consists of more sculptural dragons embroidered in gold on the Alcantara center front tunnel and the rear luggage deck. There is also MSO Defined Carbon Sill Covers.
Power in the McLaren 570GT Cabbeen Collection is derived from twin-turbo 3.8 liter V8 engine. It offers an output of 562hp and 600 Nm of torque. When enough space is provided, it can accelerate from stagnant position to 62 mph in 3.4 seconds. It can reach a top speed of 204mph. Unlike 570S, the GT version comes with an extra luggage compartment and a softer setup.
