Maserati has been struggling of late as they are waiting for new models that will revive its ageing models. Tuner Pogea Racing is offering tuning it for the Maserati GranCabrio. With this kit, output from the powertrain has been increased along with upgrade in suspension. This tuning program is also available for the Maserati GranTurismo. In stock form, Maserati GranCabrio offered 460hp and 520Nm of torque with the help of 4.7 liter V8 engine. Pogea Racing fined tuned the engine and now offers 477hp and 533Nm of torque. Pogea Racing claims that after tuning, Maserati GranCabrio has the top speed of 190 mph.
Pogea Racing didn’t only tune the Maserati GranCabrio, but also improved handling of the vehicle. It was achieved with the help of set of coilovers. Ride has been lowered by 40 millimetres. Maserati GranCabrio rides on Pogea Racing’s “Jules 21”, Monoblock Superlight forged 21 inch wheels. Dimensions of the wheels are 9×21 at the front and 12.5×21 at the rear. The tuner claims that “Jules 21” rims are made from state-of-the-art manufacturing process. Pogea further claims that highest level of load-bearing capacity at a low weight is provided because of the special aluminium alloy. The rims are fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S, for front wheels 245/30ZR21 is used whereas for rear, 325/25ZR21 is used.
The tuner is offering several interior upgrades based on customer requirements. The upgrade will constitute of carbon fiber trim along with bespoke leather upholstery. Maserati GranCabrio and GranTurismo are on verge of retirement. Maserati plans to bring Alfieri coupe and convertible by the end of 2022 to replace the models. With the new models, plug-in hybrid and fully electric powertrain will be introduced.
