Lexus LFA is eventually going to get its all-new supercar successor. However, the Japanese automaker mentioned about the LFA in the year 2012. Since then, there were many reports scattering about the LFA. Some thought of seeing a successor of the Lexus LFA. However, the latest reports about the LFA had surfaced from CarBuzz that holds up the thoughts of Jeff Bracken. The VP and General Manager of Lexus revealed his thoughts on LFA‘s successor at 2018 Detroit Auto Show. However, he clued that Lexus might come up with their all-new supercar.
As per his hint, it can be expected that the successor of the Lexus LFA will be running soon. However, he added saying that the Japanese automaker requires extended halo representation. He also stated that often dealers come up to the automaker requesting for a successor of the Lexus LFA. Bracken said that with so many requests, some to be emotional too, it is hard for the automaker to ignore too. Hence they are not closing the door. But according to Bracken, there is a chance that the Japanese automaker will come up with the Lexus LFA successor. Yoshihiro Sawa, the global President of Lexus, contributed with the same idea.
However, there is no further information about the successor of the Lexus LFA is available yet. At starting this week, in Motor City, Lexus surfaced their new concept of SUV push. They named it as the LF-1 Limitless. It features unrevealed powertrain and advanced front-end design. However, on the other hand, Toyota, the parent company of Lexus, is examining Gazoo Racing GR Super Sport hybrid hypercar. It includes Toyota Hybrid system that features 2.4-liter twin-turbo V6 yielding 986 hp (1,000 PS). Hence the report of the Gazoo Racing GR Super Sport hybrid hypercar will be disclosed at Tokyo Auto Salon.
