At the 2018 Detroit Auto Show, Lexus will be revealing LF-1 Limitless Concept crossover. However, before all that, the company has released a teaser. By first look, it has an angular rear window and swoopy rear. We can only speculate that it will have roofline similar to that of a coupe. The taillight of Lexus LF-1 Limitless Concept will span all over the rear. There seems to be spoiler on top of it which might have LED lights (blue). The blue light might signify that there is a good chance it will be hybrid.
Lexus LF-1 Limitless Concept was designed in California at CALTY design studio. It is the same studio where FT-1 Sports car was designed. According to Lexus, this crossover is reflection of their next generation luxury crossover. LF-1 Limitless Concept is a flagship crossover that means that it is placed above RX and RX L. Not much is known about this crossover, but it is anticipated that might rival against the likes of Volvo XC90 and Audi Q7.
The sloping roof line also hints at the possibility of coupe like crossover. This segment is dominated by likes of Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe and BMW X6. The design structure will be quite similar to that of same range. In other words, it will have massive spindle grille and a sculpted rear. At the Detroit Auto Show we will get to know if LF-1 Limitless Concept will be performance oriented or family oriented vehicle. Stay tuned for the event which opens on 8th of January.
