Germany based tuner DMC has unveiled their work on the Lamborghini Urus. This SUV has been favorite for many tuners all over the world. DMC started off with the stock twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 unit that offered 641hp and 850 Nm of torque to an astonishing 800hp and 914 Nm of torque. Tuned Urus is now able to sprint to 62mph in just 3.3 seconds. DMC has extended the fenders by 60 mm on each side that means the SUV is now wider by 120 mm when compared with average crossover. German tuner feels that the width is significant without over doing it.
To achieve this result, each arch has been divided into 3-4 sub-panels, all following Urus original body split lines. Moreover, each panel is made from AirCell, this material is quite strong but consist of 95% air. This technology is being used in aviation industry. To customize the front of the Lamborghini Urus, buyers can choose a carbon fiber hood that has been re-engineered into two vents. It can be obtained with paint or exposed, with both versions weighs less than the factory hood.
Additional modification in Lamborghini Urus consist of custom trunk spoiler and custom wheels. the latter can be had in either 22 or 24 inches with rims can be painted individually. Tuned Urus also features a performance exhaust system that is said to improve throttle response that also decreases the load on the car. With regards to pricing, wide body kit is priced at $9,980. If buyers decide opt for whole package that includes kit, wheels, exhaust, carbon elements and ECU tune, it will be $59,990. Personal customization option for interior is also taken by DMC.
