It is quite strange for many car enthusiasts to see special edition for any race cars. Lamborghini is following up with this trend and they have released Huracan Super Trofeo Evo Collector 2019 Edition. Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo Evo Collector 2019 Edition follows the footsteps of Huracan Super Trofeo Evo 10th Edition. It was revealed by Lamborghini Squadra Corse in Geneva (not at the Geneva Motor Show). It is eligible for Lamborghini single-brand championships.
Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo Evo Collector 2019 Edition debuted at the headquarters of prestigious watchmaker Roger Dubuis Manufacture. The manufacturer is partner with Lamborghini Squadra Corse since 2017. There is a special relationship between bit the brands and is evident by the livery of the special edition race car. For instance, roof graphics imitate the design of the of the Excalibur Huracan Performante timepiece. Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo Evo Collector 2019 Edition uses the same engine that is found on Super Trofeo and road-going Huracan. Thus, 5.2 liter V10 engine offers 630PS.
The X Frame that protects the car’s engine is referenced to the watch’s “X” design. Additionally, the case back of the new timepiece limited to 88 units hints at the design of the car’s wheel rims, whereas the watch crown is inspired by the wheel’s single nut. This special edition race car also features “Roger Dubuis” lettering at the top of the windshield and on the central fin above the engine compartment. Lamborghini Centro Stile designed black and gold livery. It combines a matte black carbon fiber bodywork with gold accents on the front bumper, hood, sides, diffusor, and rear fin. Gold elements signifies extreme aerodynamics of Huracan Super Trofeo Evo.
