Lamborghini Aventador SVJ is set to be unveiled at the Monterey Car Week. The first real look was shown on Instagram by luxury car dealer H.R. Owen. It has the caption “not long to go until the official unveiling at Monterey Car Week; here’s an exclusive preview of the Aventador SVJ”. H.R. Owen revealed the design of the car and looks quite authentic. If we compared it with Aventador, SVJ has reworked front bumper with different air intakes and new apron, a couple of hood scoops and a large wing at the rear. All these components are made from carbon fiber.
It features Lamborghini’s Active Aerodynamics technology that improves the downforce of the supercar. The power in the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ derives from naturally aspirated 6.5 liter V12 engine which is a signature for all Aventador models. It is believed that it will have an output of 759 horsepower which is an increment of 20hp over Aventador SV and 30hp over Aventador S. Even though the extra mentioned power might look quite drastic, but when combined with active aerodynamics and other mechanical work, Lamborghini Aventador SVJ would be complete beast on the track.
The details regarding the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ are scarce for now but it will be all-wheel-drive system, rear-wheel steering, traction control, and stability control. All these are tuned and it improves performance of the supercar. Aventador SVJ will also mark the end of non-hybrid V12 engine. The successor of Aventador will introduce hybrid V12 engine and might arrive by the year 2022. In the month of July, Lamborghini Aventador SVJ it broke Nurburgring lap record and took 6:44.95 seconds and took the crown from Porsche 911 GT2 RS.
