The Lamborghini Aventador produced by Italian manufacturer Lamborghini. It is a mid engine sports car. It was launched at the Geneva Motor Show on 28th February 2011. After five months the car was internally codenamed as LB834. It was designed especially to replace the Murcielago as the new flagship model. When the Aventador was revealed soon after that Lamborghini announced that it sold more than 12 of production vehicles. Lamborghini built around 5,000 Aventadors by 2016 March. It took almost 5 years to achieve the milestone.
The Aventador production was planed very limited to 4,000 cars. It achieved the 5,000 unit milestone by 2016. The molds that are used to make carbon fiber monocoque last to 500 molds. Only 9 of them were made and its base price is US $393,695. It would be little harsh to call Lamborghini Aventador not a driver’s car. You just have to sit and realize what the V12 provides especially in a straight line. CNET just jumped on a Roadster version. The Lamborghini Aventador Roadster will be almost four years old. But still now it doesn’t have true rivals. It has high end droptops which is quite faster. It uses two pieces removable carbon fiber which can be arranged manually.
The Lamborghini Aventador Roadster is powered by a naturally aspirated V12 6.5 liter engine producing 690 horsepower. The Lamborghini Aventador Roadster can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 3.0 seconds despite the added 50kgkerb weight. It has a top speed of 350 km/h with or without removable roof. It drives all the four wheels the through seven speed independent shifting rod transmission.
