Kia has revealed the facelifted family of the Optima version in UK. The base price of it starts from £22,260. This price is for base saloon 2 grade and is powered using 1.6 liter diesel engine which is mated with six-speed manual transmission. Standard equipment in this base version of Kia Optima includes 7-inch infotainment system with sat-nav and Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other features include dual-zone A/C, cruise control with speed limiter, 17-inch alloy wheels, Hill-Start Assist, Tire Pressure Monitoring and others. The Kia Optima Grade 3 has a starting price tag of saloon is £24,260 and for Sportswagon it is £25,300.
Both of the aforementioned models comes with 8-inch touchscreen inside, 4.3-inch instrument cluster, Harman/Kardon sound system, power adjustable driver’s seat, rear privacy glass, 18-inch alloy wheels and chrome accents. Standard features in it include Lane Keep Assist, Driver Attention Warning and Speed Limited Information Function. Kia Optima GT-Line S has an MSRP of £31,400 and comes only as estate body style. GT-Line S has panoramic sunroof, black leather upholstery with red stitching, alloy pedals, wireless smartphone charger, 360-degree camera system, and LED headlights. Safety features include Blind Spot Detection with Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Smart Park Assist System, Forward Collision Avoidance Assist and others.
The starting price of Kia Optima Sportswagon GT has also been disclosed and it starts from £33,350. With such a premium price, customers get their hands on turbocharged 2.0-liter petrol engine and standard gear and enhanced mechanical parts. The engine is rated at 242hp and 353Nm of torque and works in conjugation with six-speed automatic gearbox. The setup helps the car to accelerate from 0-62mph in 7.4 seconds.
