Jaguar E-Pace debuts by making a world record in Barrel Roll

Majority of automakers targets auto shows to unveil their car, but this is not Jaguar has opted to do. Jaguar E-Pace made its debut in a spectacular fashion and even managed to make a Guinness World Record. The record they manage to create was for farthest barrel roll for a production vehicle. Jaguar E-Pace was driven by a stunt driver by the name of Terry Grant. It managed to complete 15.3 meter long jump while performing 270 degree barrel roll. This stunt was performed at ExCeL exhibition center situated in London. The pricing of the Jaguar E-Pace in US starts from $38,600 and in UK is starts from £28,500.

Jaguar E-Pace is slotted below the F-Pace and would be marketed as entry level crossover. With respect to the exterior, it has got a bold front fascia which is inspired from the F-Type. There is dynamic greenhouse, optional 21 inch alloy wheels, and front fender vents. Apart from these feature, users will also see slender taillights, and body color with black contrast or panoramic glass roof. The interior of Jaguar E-Pace is tight but comes with leather-wrapped steering wheel, Noble chrome accents and 10 inch Touch pro Infotainment system which also has voice control feature.

One would also find 12 volt charging outlet, five USB ports and 577 liters of cargo space. Jaguar E-Pace will be powered with variety of 2.0 liter four-cylinder engines. The two gasoline units will have a power of 249 PS and 365 Nm of torque and 300 PS and 400 Nm of torque. The entry level diesel variant 150 PS and 380 Nm of torque whereas the mid-level version gives 180 PS and 430 Nm of torque. The range topping diesel version has an output of 240 PS and 500 Nm of torque. Depending on the selection of engines, it can be mated with six-speed manual and nine-speed automatic gearbox. In UK, the models will come with rear wheel drive and for US it will be all-wheel drive.
