Jianghuai Automobile or commonly known as JAC is a China based company. Together with Volkswagen they have invested over $12 billion to push electric vehicle in Chinese market. Now they have just released official images of their ne zero-emission compact sedan by the name of iEV A50. JAC iEV A50 will make its debut in the month of April at the 2018 Beijing Auto Show. It rides on 106.7 inch wheel base and has similar dimensions to that of Renault Megane. In other words, 180.7 inch long, 69.5 inch wide and 58.7 inch tall.
Apart from the dimensions and style aspect, one of the most astonishing aspects is the range. The company claims that JAC iEV A50 has a range of 311 miles on a single charge. It manages to achieve this due to 60kWh battery pack. Realistically, JAC iEV A50 would have a range of 249 miles and with the help of less powerful 47kWh battery pack it will have a range of 205 miles. The battery is located under rear bench and comes with fast-charging feature. In just 1.5 hours, it can reach from 0 to 80 percent to provide full power to the electric motor.
The electric motor is situated at the front and this motor produces an output of 150 horsepower. The electric engine is capable of producing top speed of 93mph. there is nothing lot to discuss about the exterior or interior of the JAC iEV A50 as majority of it is bland. There is a vertical touchscreen of 10.4 inches and gear selector looks inspired from BMW. Other features include 60-degree camera system, keyless entry and go, cruise control, tire pressure monitoring and several other features.
