Infiniti have announced their plan for Chinese market and in this plan they will build five new models in coming five years. One of these models is QX50 and it shows their commitment in Chinese market. The all-new Infiniti QX50 will be showcased to the world at the Beijing Auto Show for the time in Asian market. The Japanese carmaker has already started to speed up the production process at their manufacturing facility which is situated in Dalian. China produced QX50s will be sold exclusively in Chinese market which will go on sale later this year.
Infiniti is also another aspect of their sales which is the electrified vehicles. The company targets electric models will constitute of 50 per cent of sales globally by the year 2025. For Chinese market, company is targeting tripling its sales over the course of next five years. They have also partnered with local Dongfeng Motor Company Ltd and thus are pursuing localization in China for China. Chairman and Global President of Infiniti, Roland Krueger also added that they want to expand their network footprint and introduce new technologies.
Their intentions were clear when they introduced world’s first production variable compression engine (VC-Turbo), and vehicle electrification like the e-Power. Roland Krueger also added that they leave no stone unturned when it comes to be a challenger in top premium brand in market. For its Asian debut, Infiniti is also bringing Q Inspiration Concept at Beijing Auto Show. This new concept will preview company’s new design philosophy that will be seen on upcoming electric vehicles.
