Infiniti will take the veil off the all-new electric crossover concept at next month’s Detroit Auto Show. Infiniti Electric Crossover Concept is based on new EV platform. Japanese automaker claims that new crossover concept will showcase new form design language for electrification which is infused in company’s DNA. As part of this announcement, a teaser image of the concept was released that gives us a sneak peak of bold looking car. The name of Infiniti Electric Crossover Concept is still undecided.
The teaser image of Infiniti Electric Crossover Concept reveals that features slim LED headlights, illuminated grille frame with illuminated Infiniti logo and lettering at the center. It has coupe like sloping roofline and windshield that has wraparound design. Other noticeable features include rearview cameras, along with bulged wheel arches, massive aero wheels and pronounced rear haunches. The teaser image of Electric Crossover Concept seems to be a stunner in every sense. Company’s executive design director, Karim Habib said that the Electric Crossover Concept illustrates where they want to go as brand and beginning of a new era.
He further added that electrification and other technologies give them an opportunity to evolve their design philosophy. Nissan’s luxury car division said that advent of electrification has allowed automakers to adopt fresh approach towards crossovers and sedans aesthetic. With the help of electrification process, interior becomes spacious and helpful assistive technologies. We are probably expecting the same from Infiniti Electric Crossover Concept at Detroit. At this event, Infiniti will also showcase Prototype 10 Pebble Beach Concept. In January, Infiniti disclosed that they will commence electrification process of their lineup from 2021.
