Hyundai is bringing noticeable improvement to the SUV segment and is joined by newest member in their family. Dubbed as Hyundai Tucson N Line, it will go on sale in UK market from 30th May. Base model of Hyundai Tucson N Line is priced from £25,995 and is powered with 1.6-liter petrol engine. The output from the engine is rated at 175hp (177PS / 130kW) and is mated with six-speed manual transmission. If buyer opts for 7-Speed DCT, prices rises to £27,285. Then there is 1.6-liter diesel engine that offers 134hp (136 PS / 100kW) and also offers 48-vold mild-hybrid system. Price of this version is £27,760 with manual gearbox. When opted with DCT, it is priced at £29,050.
No matter which transmission is chosen, both these models are equipped with front-wheel drive and is available with seven color options. For instance, Shadow Grey color option is priced at £665. Hyundai Tucson N Line comes with 8-inch touchscreen display, Traffic Messaging Channel, Mapcar, Live Services, DAB radio, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Buyers would also get several features without shelling out any extra amount. They would get Keyless entry&go, heated and height-adjustable front seats, climate control, automatic dimming rearview mirror, rear privacy glass, electric parking brake, black cloth headlining and front and rear parking sensors. Standard safety features include Active Bonnet System, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist, Hill Start Assist Control, Downhill Brake Control, Trailer Stability Assist, Speed Limit Information Function and tire pressure monitoring.
To make Hyundai Tucson N Line stand out from other models, few exterior and interior changes have been made. These changes consist of front and rear bumpers, dark mesh-pattern grille with dark chrome surround, glossy black side mirror casings and rear spoiler, black-bezel headlamps, unique LED DRLs and 19-inch alloy wheels. Changes made in cabin includes N-branded leather-suede sport seats with red stitching, N-branded steering wheel and gearshift lever, plus alloy pedals. Power steering has been enhanced whereas suspension has been made stiffer 8 percent on the front and 5 percent at the rear.
