Hyundai will reveal highly appreciated Le Fil Rouge Concept at Concours d’Elegance of America. This marque event will commence from 27th to 29th of July at Plymouth, Michigan. It will also mark North American debut. Hyundai Le Fil Rouge Concept brings forward company’s upcoming “Sensuous Sportiness” design language. This design language will be available on all future Korean models. Hyundai Le Fil Rouge Concept made its debut at last year’s Geneva Motor Show. It is reinterpretation of Hyundai’s iconic 1974 Coupe Concept.
If you have ever heard of the term “golden-ratio proportion” from Aston Martin, then you will be shocked to know the same has been used by Hyundai. Hyundai Le Fil Rouge Concept shows off long wheelbase along with large wheels and short overhangs. On the other hand, front and rear pillars and also the roof are seamlessly blended into the overarching shape of the car. All these changes give us an impression that it is drawn from a single line. One shouldn’t make too much out of it as it is just a case study for now. Nonetheless, if it did manage to follow the same footsteps, the future is quite bright for them.
Wrap-around architecture can be found in the inside that separates driver from the passengers. Hyundai’s design team were inspired from aircraft ventilation to develop this feature and thus it gives two-way ventilation. When it comes to materials, Hyundai Le Fil Rouge Concept uses re-vitailized wood and high-tech fabrics. It gives cabin a natural beauty and the driver would get floating panoramic display with haptic tech.
