Now that Monterey Car Week is over, automakers are focusing their attention towards Frankfurt Motor Show. Hyundai is already prepping to showcase a new model at this event and they have released a teaser of 45 Concept. At this point of time, not much is known about the Hyundai 45 Concept, but South Korean automaker claimed that it would be an all-electric vehicle. It would act as a symbolic milestone for Hyundai’s future EV design. Nonetheless, they said that 45 Concept was inspired by looking back at their first model in 1970s.
Hyundai 45 Concept explores an evolution of their “Sensuous Sportiness” design language that would make their car more emotional. Specifications of the Hyundai 45 Concept has not been disclosed, but it does have a distinctive rear end with tailgate mounted spoiler and vertical accents on the rear window. Below of that we can spot LED light bar that can apparently show messages and graphics for the taillights. Teaser image also disclosed angular bodywork and two large panels on the rear end. Additionally, there is a lower display that illuminates showcasing 45 Logo (see image to know more).
Interior images of Hyundai 45 Concept have not been revealed but company have previously hinted the concept will have a unique cabin which will demonstrate how they are rethinking mobility. Hyundai also hinted that model could have customizable components as they envision “cars of future will become individualized living spaces”. Official unveiling of 45 Concept EV is scheduled for 10th September and will be joined by other models like the i10 and electrified race car.
