Two years ago, we got hold of patent images which now seems quite similar to the Honda Sports Vision Gran Turismo Concept. The previewed patent images resembled like baby NSX and this concept seems no different. At this point of time, the car is stuck in the gaming realm of Gran Turismo. Honda Sports Vision Gran Turismo Concept was designed at the company’s office in California studio but the development occurred in Japan. Even though the concept is in the digital form but a full scale model was developed.

It was tested in wind tunnel but not in the computational fluid dynamics stimulator. If the Sports Vision Gran Turismo Concept extensively uses carbon fiber on its body then the weight would drop drastically to 1982 pounds. If one compares the weight to the current NSX, then the weight is reduced by half. It is lighter than Honda S2000 and S660 Roadster. The Honda Sports Vision Gran Turismo Concept might opt for 2.0-liter DOHC-VTEC turbo-four engine just like the Civic Type R. It generates 400hp and mated with an eight-speed dual clutch transmission.
