The Honda S660 is one roadster which is not available outside Japan. Thus, every car fanatics gets excited whenever a new special edition comes into picture. One such latest edition of Honda S660 is Trad Leather Edition. It will go on sale from 21st of December in Japan before making its full-fledged debut at next month’s Tokyo Auto Salon. As the name suggests, Honda S660 Trad Leather Edition features leather trimmed interior. It combines light tan and black leather for sports seats, steering wheel, instrument panel cover and passenger side dashboard.
The cabin of Honda S660 Trad Leather Edition has aluminum plate which has “Trad Leather” logo on the center console to prompt buyers about the special status of the roadster. Leather treatment on the inside is complemented by brown soft top on the outside. It gives a fresh look thanks to British Green body color. Apart from British Green, two other paints are available which are Premium Star White and Nighthawk Black. To round off exterior upgrades, there are bi-color aluminum wheels covered in silver and black.
City-Brake Active System comes as standard for Honda S660 Trad Leather Edition. This system is available as option for lesser models. Beside aesthetic changes, Honda S660 Trad Leather Edition continues use the same powertrain as S660. Hence, turbocharged 0.66 liter three-cylinder gasoline engine offers 64hp and 104Nm of torque. The engine can be linked with six-speed manual or a CVT that send power to rear wheels. Price of special edition Honda S660 Trad Leather Edition starts from 2,275,560 yen, regardless of transmission.
