Honda teased a video of the new Honda Mobilio. It will be launched in late 2017 in India. It is the facelifted version of the Mobilio MPV. It looks very much stylish than the current model. The current Mobilio is sold in South Africa, Indonesia, and India. It has a very dull design reflective of its low price point. However with the facelift, Honda has taken some design cues from the premium range and introduced it to the Mobilio. There are similarities between the current CR-V and facelifted Honda Mobilio at the front end and especially with the chrome grille and headlights.
It can get a new headlamp design with LED DRLs. It looks similar to the Honda WR-V. It looks like a mini CR-V from some angles. But from other angles it is essentially a bloated Honda Fit. The Honda Mobilio will have exterior updated. It will be powered by a 1.5 liter diesel and a 1.5 liter petrol engine. The facelift Honda Mobilio will get new 15 inch alloy wheels and oval shaped front fog lamps. It would be available on the higher variants.
It will also get a revised new bonnet design, a thick chrome slat and revised front grille. The rear will share some of its cues with its existing Mobilio model unlike the revised front fascia. The teaser does not reveal its interior. But some minor updates to the design and features are expected. Looks like the new MPV have adopted a profile reminiscent of the sub compact WR-V. It was recently introduced exclusively by Honda for the South American market. According to the Autonetmagz report, the facelifted Honda Mobilio will make its debut on 12th January.
