Ford has been in the car making business for many years. To be specific they have started the organization in the year 1903. They also sell luxurious car under the Lincoln moniker. This Henry Ford founded company had some good days and some bad days. Ford is the maker of Fiesta, Focus, GT and Edge. These cars are quite popular among car enthusiasts. Recently, Ford added another feather in their crown by making into the Guinness World Record book. They have managed to make it name in the Guinness World Record in the Eastern European country of Bulgaria.
According to latest report, 1527 Ford vehicles formed a longest queue for the Guinness World Record in Sofia, Bulgaria. This is the official number, it is said that over 2300 Ford vehicles were present to cover 2 miles. Few vehicles were not included in the official data because few of the vehicles fell in the category of light vehicles. This is not the first time Ford has entered in the Guinness World Record books. Some of the cars that made this event memorable were Ford Fiesta, Focus, and Mondeo.
Few classic Ford cars were also present in the lineup such as Probe, Ford Mercury, Ford Granada, Ford Taunus, Cougar, Thunderbird and many others too. 1930’s Model A was also present in the lineup. Guinness World Record has credited the feat into its record book. The previous record for longest queue of Ford vehicles was in North America where only 829 Ford vehicles were present. On the official website of the Guinness World Record, one can find many such feats held by other auto manufacturers. For example, on 12th June 2015 over 2420 Jeeps were gathered in Pennsylvania. Toyota set a record in the year 2015 by gathering 742 vehicles in Cyprus.
